I like the name and the colour scheme because it really matches the genre well. I think that it will stand out from other magazines because of the intended content and therefore will be successful. You could maybe narrow down the target audience?
ReplyDeleteI really like the name as it gives us a feel for the Genre, another good aspect is the colour scheme idea.
ReplyDeleteI like the style of music 'Arctic Monkeys' etc. and I think it would stand out in comparison to NME as you've suggested that it's 'opposite to NME'. The 16+ rating is relevant for the style of music as an older audience tend to listen to more alternative bands. I believe this will be successful ! :)
ReplyDeleteyou need to find a way of making your magazine standout and make it different from Q. Apart from that,i really like the name of your magazine amplified as it connects to the genre of the magazine.
ReplyDeletei like the name of your magazine as it reflects the genre of music you are covering. i also like how you follow conventions of the 3 colours in your colour palette. i think that this will be aimed at 15+ males and has a lot of competition, but you can do it james!!
ReplyDeleteI really like the genre of rock/indie music from post 2000. I think this is a good idea as it is specific and therefore will attract a specific audience. I think that NME is too busy and puts the audience off with too much information, whereas your idea seems to have been inspired by NME yet simplified and I think will attract more audiences this way, which is why I think your magazine will be successful.
ReplyDeleteI think the magazine is realistic for the genre you are aiming for and the colour pallete seems really simple which will attract your target audience. Amplified is a good name as it relates to music and I think that if you do it with the inspiration from NME you will need to concentrate on making sure you can see the clear difference between the two magazines.
